Life in Western School Division is not all about the quality education system! Our students have opportunities to be involved in many extracurricular activities both at home and at school. Team sports include basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, badminton, track and hockey. The arts are also an important aspect of life in Morden. Students can join choirs, study band or take private music lessons. Many have had the opportunity to perform in musical or dramatic shows.

Qualified art teachers are employed a tour our schools and the local art gallery also offers courses throughout the year. Students also have the opportunity to try some things that are specialties of the area, such as skating, tobogganing, and skiing. A nearby lake gives people the opportunity to cool off in the warmer months. Because we are proud of our safe caring environment, students are free to walk or ride bikes around town. Many students have the opportunity to travel or camp with their homestay families as well. Life is good in Manitoba!!
